The American List is a resource to help you find and buy American-made products. We hand-pick the best American products and services from local, veteran-owned companies so you can support our country and our troops.

We do extensive research to find the best American products and companies so that you don’t have to. Not only does our service guarantee that you’re supporting the USA, but we also make sure that we’re supporting our military. We list companies that offer military discounts to give back to our troops who give their lives to guarantee our freedoms.

We make it easy to find American-made goods without having to search across the internet. The American List is a go-to hub for buyers looking to purchase local goods and support their country in a fraction of the time it would usually take.

I was born and raised in New York City, and I am the son of a Greek immigrant. My dad came to the U.S. to live the “American Dream,” and we have been fortunate enough to experience the freedoms and opportunities that weren’t necessarily available to him outside of the U.S.

One day I decided to live a more minimalistic life. I started going through my closet to figure out what I actually needed and what I was holding on to for reasons I still don’t know why to this day.

During this process, I noticed that most of what I had was not made in the USA. While this is not a “bad” thing, this revelation swayed my heart because I began to feel that I wasn’t doing my part in giving back to American businesses, or “paying it forward” so future generations can experience the same freedoms and opportunities that my dad and I have enjoyed.

That’s how the American List started.

I decided I was going to start giving back by making a more conscious effort and buying American-made products from local U.S. companies.
